On today's freewheeling episode, Roger and I discuss—because they share a last name—the two Andersons: Paul Thomas and Wes. And then, John Travolta's recent troubles. Because.
Oh yeah, Shark Night also gets talked about. You can listen to the episode here.

Great show guys,
I am a fan of both Andersons, but P.T. Anderson is my favourite living director working today. I was fortunate enough to see him in person when he premiered Punch-Drunk Love at TIFF back in 2002. I cannot wait for The Master to come out. I am not the biggest fan of Phoenix but I am sure P.T. will pull a great performance from him.
As for The Ruins, it is an awful film. Despite being very silly when you think about it as a whole, the studio played it way too safe in the ending. I rank on the same level as The Happening. Interesting premise, horrible execution.
That's so awesome that you saw him live for Punch Drunk Love. That may be my favorite movie of his. Agree about Phoenix, but based on the teaser of have high hopes for his performance in this movie.
Thanks for the advice on The Ruins.
